Patrick “MrShineyhead” Fischer
Patrick Fischer, also known as MrShineyhead, is fast becoming a sought-after performer all around the country. His visual language, gesture, and engaging storytelling abilities delight audiences of all ages and diverse backgrounds. In addition to touring nationally with the National Theatre of the Deaf (NTD) and performing with Northwest Theatre of the Deaf (NWTD), Patrick has performed solo across the nation, as well as joining notable Deaf performers on stage. Audiences from all over the world are talking about this amazing performer!!
NIC Master, enjoys researching and creating various workshops that focus on skill building through deliberate practice (RID Views, Winter 2012). Presenting workshops the last five years at national conferences (NAD, RID, Silent Weekend, TerpExpo) regional conferences (RID I, II, III, IV, V), state conferences, and local workshops across the nation has given Wink experiences to enhance applications for interpreters of all levels. Wink is widely noted for the comfortable atmosphere he creates and the passion he exudes. Currently Wink travels full time performing, presenting workshops, and managing Winkshop, Inc, through which he has developed a dozen training DVDs. A fun fact: in 2015 alone, Wink’s professional travels covered enough miles to circle the Earth over three times.
Nicki Runge (Denver Only)
She has always had a passion for acting since age of 5. She started performing in school plays and continued acting through college theatre. Nicki’s passion led her to Colorado from Waterloo, Belgium, where she made her professional debut “Johnny Belinda” while graduating college with a Bachelor Degree in University of Northern Colorado.
After graduation, Nicki’s talent quickly landed her new own business of Rocky Mountain Deaf Theatre and national tour for RMDT. Nicki continued performing in theatre, winning much acclaim for her role as Shirley Valentine in “Shirley Valentine”. She also had great success as a director for “Silent Salzburg”. Nicki has continued to hone her new experience as actress in independent films. Her latest, “Terror Tales,” directed by Jimmy Lee Combs and produced by Heart and Fire Production. Nicki Runge has the ability to give unparalleled life to a diverse range of characters.
Nicki is certified by University of Northern Colorado in performing arts and has attended Walt Disney World College Program, Deaf West Professional Summer School and National Theatre for the Deaf Summer School.
